Minimum Requirements


The Wiki Valley platform requires a web browser supporting TLS 1.2+ and JavaScript:

  • Internet Explorer: 11+ [1]
  • Edge: 12+
  • Firefox: 27+
  • Chrome: 29+
  • Safari: 7+
  • Opera: 16+
  • iOS Safari: 6+ [2]
  • Android browser: 5+

Connections can be IPv4 or IPv6.

  1. ↑ It is possible to use IE 8/9/10 by enabling TLS 1.2 in the Options menu > Internet Options > Advanced tab > check "Use TLS 1.2", however MediaWiki disables JavaScript for these versions.
  2. ↑ It is possible to use iOS Safari 5 but MediaWiki disables JavaScript for this version.

Recommended Setup

Recent web browsers are recommended as they are generally faster and more secure.

MediaWiki is also much more tested on recent browsers (see this page).
